I believe pictures speak louder than words, so please feel free to skip this profile and have a browse through the photos of my decorative glass work. However, if you would like to find out more about how I started working with glass and what kind of work I do, read on...
It all started over 15 years ago when I was on holiday in Croatia and someone I met through a mutual friend needed help in turning over a large glass panel. When I saw it, it was love at first sight. I returned to my native Hungary, did a course and set up my business. I worked with interior designers and architects on larger commissions, such as bank branches, solicitors’ offices, health clinics and private residences.
In 2008 I moved to the United Kingdom, the country of fascinating hedges, chimneys and stained glass art. I’ve been lucky to be able to continue working with glass - I’d like to help preserve this country’s traditional glass art and I also hope to make my own modest contribution to British contemporary glass art. I work in a studio in a wonderful and inspiring garden in Buckland, Surrey. I do not have opening hours in my studio, so please contact me to make an appointment. My decorative glass pieces have been on display for sale at a number of art galleries and exhibitions. Please click on Events etc. to find out about current and forthcoming exhibitions and sculpture trails, further details of galleries, and websites where my work is listed.
This website contains photos of a wide variety of the commissioned work I have done and pieces of art I have created. Some are unique and most will have been sold/installed, but others are still available as they are made in limited series. Please contact me if you’d like to commission a piece.
I’m happy to deliver and set up pieces.
